Time Line
Your second task is to create a time line for your basic background knowledge of the history of US Immigration. This time line will help you generalize the period of immigration and a sort of idea of important dates of high level of immigration called "immigration waves."

-Individually, students will investigate American immigration and create a timeline using Power Point and wikispaces.
-The timeline will need to include at least 8 important dates relevant to American immigration from 1850-1960. 6 of the dates need to be times when large waves of different groups of people immigrated.
-After you completed your timeline you need to briefly explain why this date was important to conclude. This writing can be done within Power Point.
Use the websites below to help you create your time line and research.
